Returns

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns for any other reason than the item is faulty or is not described as on our site. This does not affect your statutory rights as a customer.

If you’re unable to settle a dispute with us (Borg Locks), you can find more information and advice through the EU’s Online Dispute Resolution service. Please use sales@borglocks.com as our main contact email address when submitting.

Cancellations

If a customer chooses to cancel their order once payment has been made, the following rules apply. You must notify us immediately. If the order has been dispatched, the customer may incur a 25% handling charge (to cover admin, banking, merchant charges, supplier charges etc). The remaining 75% will be credited back to the account that payment was made from.

Payment

We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, and Delta. All credit/debit card details given to this site are secure and are processed by SagePay Europe Ltd. Any charges will appear on your credit/debit card statement as `Borglocks.com’.

Those wishing to pay via cheque have the option to print an order form and post us their order with payment via cheque. United Kingdom cheques are the only ones accept. Once payment has cleared, your order will be processed and your goods despatched.

Prices

All prices quoted on our website are in pounds sterling and are non-inclusive of VAT. These do, however, include postage and packaging.

The DPA & GDPR May 2018

We and this website complies with the DPA (Data Protection Act 1998) and already complies with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) which comes in to affect from May 2018. We will update this policy accordingly after the completion of the UK`s exit from the European Union.

Data is collected during any purchases. We collect this during all purchases and is freely given by the customer at time of purchase. This is purely used to be able to send products or merchandise to the correct area and provide a means of communication should there be an issue that requires a follow up between us and the user. This information is stored on a secure database with minimal access to it bar a few select administrators. At no point is information shared or sold with any third party.

As a user and consumer, you have a right to request any information we have on you and, should you so wish, request that we delete or correct anything we do have.

Use of Cookies

We operate an email mailing list program, used to inform subscribers about products, services and / or news we supply / publish. Subscriber personal details are collected, processed, managed and stored in accordance with the regulations named in `The Policy` above. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time through an automated on line service, or if not available, other means as detailed in the footer of sent marketing messages (or unsubscribe from all Mailchimp lists). The type and content of marketing messages subscribers receive and if it may contain 3rd party content, is clearly outlined at the point of subscription.

Email marketing messages may contain tracking beacons /tracked clickable links or similar server technologies in order to track subscriber activity within email marketing messages. Where used, such marketing messages may record a range of subscriber data relating to engagement, geographic, demographics and already stored subscriber data.

Social Media Policy & Usage

We adopt a social media policy to ensure our business and staff conduct themselves accordingly. We will never ask for your user passwords or personal details on social media platforms.
